The seventh house is contrary of the first. The act of marriage takes us just as far away as possible from who we're by ourselves: it's an agreement to reside with, to love, to appreciate and to encourage somebody who might be wholly different than yourself. The union brings about connections with the in laws, and people generally. Marriage is also very likely to bring traveling, as part of the household isn't under the same roof. Movable, dominated by Shukra (Venus), it strengthens the significations of marriage, social interactions and traveling.
